This signed print depicts a gathering having a swell time at a renaissance fair. Each is 11 × 17 inches, with a limited edition run of 20.

I wanted to create a large crowd scene when this was made in 2015. I found this photograph in a magazine at a since-closed book store.

This piece is mostly watercolor with a layer of electric paint marker on top, like neon icing on a birthday cake. The line work here is loose, intertwined and eclectic. It feels like the perfect match for the festive, dancing subject matter. The fact that this is traditional media also fits the spirit of the scene. If you look close at this painting you can admire the pencil drawing underneath, which ties this work together like a circulatory system.

The second best way to view this piece, other than in person (it sold during Covid,) is with an official, signed Adrian Poole print based on a high resolution scan and printed on gorgeous archival paper. This painting will spiritually activate in early summer, as it was rendered in June of 2015.
