Adrian Francis Poole was born in Henderson, Kentucky in 1990. As a child, he read Mad Magazine and watched old horror films, which culminated into an early drawing style that he describes as equally humorous and horrific. The Surrealists, Jackson Pollock, Robert Crumb, and Jean-Michel Basquiat inspired him to take his art to the next level. After finishing his BFA in Illustration from Lesley University in 2012, he completed his Master of Fine Arts in Drawing from The University of Massachusetts Dartmouth in 2014. Adrian’s hometown is Newark, Delaware. He moved to Portland, Oregon in 2015.
